Wat is a really great and memorable graduation gift to give my boyfriend?

My boyfriend is graduating high school June 15,2011 . and he is going on to UC Santa Cruz. We've been going out for about 9 months. I want to get him something really memorable, somethng he can maybe use in college , and meaningful. I don't want to spend over $50 . any idea's?
