Police told me they are going to knock on my door until my son turns his self in?

My 28 year old son got in to a domestic violence or dispute or somethng , the police came the night of the incident and which was last week and 4:20 this morning and stated they are going to continue wake us up even though we have to go to work until he turns hiself in , even though we told him he does not live here like that is going to make him come in , what does he care they come here , we are the ones who are gettin harrassed , what I want to know is can I file a complaint ? I live in NJ
