How to set up a romantic room?

okay my bf's bday is coming up soon and ive already bought the candles rose petals and somethng sexy to wear for him, but the only problem is his room is a bit messy i plan to let his bestfriend take him out for like 2 hours so i can clean up his room a bit but im still lost on how exactly to set up the romantic room vibe and make it look really nice. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
